The Food and Nutrition Technical Assistance III (FANTA) project strives to improve the health and well-being of vulnerable individuals, families and communities in developing countries by strengthening food security and nutrition policies, strategies, programs and systems within a multisectoral context.

The project provides comprehensive technical support to improve the capacity of country governments designated as priorities by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) — as well as civil society, national and international organizations — to advocate for, plan, implement and evaluate nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive programs. FANTA also fosters collaboration and cooperation among all government sectors and levels to improve nutrition and food security.
