Since the late 2000s, FHI 360 has partnered with Uganda’s Ministry of Health, local governments and community-based organizations to develop and implement programs that address some of the country’s most pressing development challenges.
Our experts have conducted research to help inform the development of new ways to increase access to contraceptives and have played a key role in the expansion of injectable contraceptives — now the most popular method used in the country. We have also worked with the Ministry of Health to advance national policies that expand community-based family planning services.
