Mr. Lwitiko joined Ifakara Health Institute (IHI) as a research officer in 2009. His major roles include: 1) Coordinating a rabies project funded by the UBS Optimus Foundation (UBSOF); The project was collaboration between IHI, Sokoine University of Agriculture and the University of Glasgow (UoG), 2) Surveillance and conducting Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices (KAP) surveys, 3) Training local public health and veterinary officers in implementing community-level mass dog vaccination.
