Mr. Johnson K. Swai has a BSc in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. He has worked on development and evaluation of novel mosquito control tools, including spatial mosquito repellents, housing for itinerant communities and alternative sources of mosquito attractants. He is interested in studying the role of migratory farmers’ livelihoods in maintaining transmission of vector borne diseases, and its implications to the health of community members practicing it.Johnson Swai is currently on a Wellcome Trust Masters Fellowship, enrolled for a masters degree at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
