Dr. Fatma is a well renowned public health specialist in reproductive and sexual health. She served as Executive Director, Tanzania Commission for AIDS (TACAIDS) for 9 years after being the Country Representative in Uganda for the UNFPA. She has also worked as the Regional Advisor Reproductive Health for UNFPA English-speaking countries based in Ethiopia, Tanzania Ministry of Health as Director of Preventive Health Services and Department of Community Health at Muhimbili School of Medicine MUHAS.
