• The Surgical Ward has 39 beds for patients who have been or will be operated on in the theatre. Surgical Ward has two dedicated theatres for their use. In November 2008, the Operating Theatre Block was modernised and modified. There is a generator at Kitovu Hospital that ensures that it is possible to continue with an operation even during a power cut.
