• MTRH dental department is a centre of excellence in the provision of dental services. It is adequately staffed with dental specialists and modern equipment that necessitate high-level of service provision. It has a well-equipped general and private wing catering for both cash payers and corporate clientele.

    The department participates in regular outreach activities within the community offering free dental treatment and oral health education as part of corporate social responsibility; it is also a centre for training and research providing an ideal venue for training of dental, medical, dental technology and oral health students from Moi University, Kenya Medical Training College and other institutions.

    The department offers the following services;

    Oral & maxillofacial surgery including fractures of the jaws , extraction of teeth and management of cancer, tooth restoration (fillings, root canal ) and replacement of missing or severely damaged dental and facial tissues.
