Under this CDC-funded project, EGPAF supports provision of sustainable, evidence-based HIV prevention, care and treatment services to members of the non-military uniformed services and their surrounding host communities. The ZUIA project works with the uniformed services’ AIDS control units to build their technical knowledge and HIV service delivery skills.

The project aims to fully transition the oversight, management, and implementation of HIV prevention, care and treatment services to the non-military uniformed services, ensuring long-term sustainability of HIV services offered to this important cadre.
