AFIDEP initiates work to strengthen evidence for action and accountability for improved SRH of young people in Eastern and Southern Africa. The new project, funded by NORAD, will:

  1. Generate evidence to inform policy and programme interventions in Kenya and Malawi, the EAC and SADC to improve access to young people’s SRH outcomes.
  2. Increase awareness among decision-makers of the benefits of improving young people’s SRH outcomes and proven interventions for improving youth SRH outcomes in EAC and SADC regions.
  3. Strengthen the institutional capacity of AFIDEP and knowledge of policy actors in Kenya and Malawi to generate and use evidence for improving SRH outcomes for young people.
