Pact's work in Uganda is fostering peace and reconciliation among historically divided groups, improving people's safety and quality of life both within the country and in neighbouring nations.

We're using an approach that will leave a lasting impact. We're strengthening conflict-management systems, building the capacity of regional and national institutions to stem cross-border conflict, helping to rehabilitate former fighters and constructing "peace dividends," such as health and water facilities, to increase positive interactions among divided groups.

Pact also works with mining communities in Uganda, using the iTSCi mineral traceability system to keep conflict minerals out of supply chains.
