About us
The College started training paramedical courses in 1972 by training:
Nursing Assistants -1 year. Military Trade levels in various disciplines- 6 months. In 1982 the College was officially permitted by the MOH & SW to train Rural Medical Aids. Later the College started training Diploma in clinical medicine and few years later Diploma in Nursing. In 2004 the college started offering advanced diploma in Clinical Medicine (Assistant Medical Officers). The college got fully registered with NACTE in 2007.
The college has undergone transformations from teaching low cadre medical professions in the 1970s to the current stage whereby the college offers:
- Diploma in Nursing.
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine.
- Advanced Diploma in Clinical Medicine.
- Jnr and Snr Medical Staff Officers Courses.
The college continues training trade courses in various levels and disciplines, utilising this campus and the renovated zonal hospitals.
