KARUDEC, originally a hospital for lepers, was founded by the Anglican Church of Uganda. Its mission is to proclaim the love of God by engaging in activities aimed at improving the physical and spiritual well-being of the poor and disadvantaged people in the district. The hospital and its community programs serve all who are in need regardless of their ethnic background or religious belief.
Your generosity and support of the Foundation will help make a difference in its endeavors. Please go to our "Giving" section to see how you can assist. Although KARUDEC functions under the auspices of the Anglican Church of Uganda, the two organizations operate with fiscal autonomy. There are no financial connections or transactions between them.
