Cavendish University was established in 2008 as a private University in Uganda. The University has four Faculties and one school. These include: The Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Business and Management, Faculty of Socio-Economic Sciences, Faculty of Law and, School of Post Graduate Studies.

Vision: To be a model university in Africa that delivers a transformative, market-relevant quality education.

Mission: To provide accessible, high quality, research-driven education that transforms students into responsible, educated, employable, entrepreneurial citizens.
