In 2007, Makerere University, through the Makerere University School of Public Health, MakSPH, developed a training programme leading to the award of a Master of Health Services Research (MHSR) to address some of the challenges faced currently by the health care systems in Uganda and beyond. The program is designed for individuals who desire postgraduate training in public health research.
