Dr Fatuma Manzi, is a Principal Scientist based at the Ifakara Health Institute (IHI) for over 16 years. She is a health system and policy analyst with PhD from Basel University, Switzerland. She has an economics degree from University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Health Economics specific training from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK. She has experience leading health systems and policy research projects. She is interested in the development and evaluation of public health interventions for maternal, newborn and child health including cost and cost effectiveness analysis.
