Dr. Mary Mwangome is a medical doctor with a MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of hygiene and tropical medicine. She attained a PhD from the Free University Amsterdam working on the topic “Health care for chronic diseases in rural Tanzania: Including non-communicable diseases in primary health care towards health for all.” Her main interests are in clinical research on HIV prevention, care and treatment as well as in health systems research focussing on health services for chronic diseases especially HIV and diabetes.
