Emmy Metta
Biography
Dr. Emmy Metta is a research scientist at IHI and a co-investigator for a project on health systems governance for an inclusive and sustainable social health protection in Ghana and Tanzania (R4D Project). She joined IHI in 2003 where she coordinated the community acceptability component of the interdisciplinary monitoring project for anti-malarial combination therapy (IMPACT – TZ) and of another project on improving access and targeting of anti-malaria combination treatments (ACT consortium project). She has participated in various implementation and evaluation projects and has a vast experience in designing and conducting qualitative studies in different settings in Tanzania.
