Mr. Tegemeo Gavana is a Research Officer at Ifakara Health institute (IHI) under Environmental Health and Ecological Sciences department. He has a bachelors degree in Rural Development from Sokoine University of Agriculture. Mr. Tegemeo joined Ifakara health Institute in 2011 as research intern in a project to evaluate application of community based novel strategies for malaria surveillance and control, in which he was employed as a research officer six months later. Mr. Tegemeo has taken part and undertaken various responsibilities as co-investigator in different research projects .
