The department of Paediatrics and Child Health at MUHAS is one of the core clinical departments at MUHAS. Over 80% of the Paediatricians in Tanzania have been trained in this department. The department has a total of 11 permanent well trained academic staff with a wide range of teaching, clinical and research experience. The department works closely with the department of Paediatrics and Child Health at Muhimbili National Hospital, which is the University’s teaching hospital.
