Catherine Abbo is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, College of Health Sciences at Makerere University- Kampala. She trained as a Medical Doctor (MBChB) and later did her Master of Medicine in Psychiatry from Makerere University, Uganda in 1998 and 2003 respectively. She obtained her PhD in Psychiatry from Karolinska Institutet, Sweden in 2009.
