With funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Jhpiego is working to assist three East African countries (Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania) to scale up family planning services in order to reach more clients.
The project builds on the successes of the Urban Reproductive Health Initiative (also known as Tupange), and uses proven family planning solutions to achieve large-scale coverage of high-quality, sustainable family planning services.In Tanzania, the project covers all of the country’s major cities (Arusha, Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Mbeya and Tanga).
