1. Provides services 24 hours a day 7 days a week. It is strategically located next to the main Entrance of the hospital for easy access. It serves as an A&E Department, Out-Patient Department and as entry point for all the admission cases.
2. At the A&E we treat on average 150 patients per day. A well laid out emergency preparedness plan coupled with well equipped staff has made the centre a one stop centre able to handle mass accidents, acute cardio-respiratory problems, advanced trauma, gunshots, disaster management, poisons and cases like malaria, pneumonia, typhoid fever, non communicable and communicable diseases and many others.
3. The A&E Department comprises of motivated team of doctors, nurses, technicians and other para health professionals well skilled in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support and trauma life support for both adults, children and babies. Doctors and nurses undergo regular training to ensure their skills and knowledge are up to date.
