Biography
Robert has more than 8 years experience in vector-borne diseases research in Tanzania, he holds a masters degree in medical parasitology and entomology. His expertise lies in molecular and immunological techniques in malaria and arbovirus research. Since 2016, he is a research quality assurance manager at Pan-African Malaria Vector Research Consortium. He is also a fellow of the Young East African Research Scientist (YEARS') forum of the East African Health Research Commission of the East African Community. His current research is on the influence of Plasmodium falciparum histidine-rich protein 2 gene polymorphism on malaria rapid diagnosis in Tanzania.
