Biography
I am Happiness Kumburu a laboratory research scientist with a background in Biotechnology and Laboratory Sciences. Holding a Master’s degree in Medical Microbiology, Immunology with Molecular biology. Currently, I am a finalist PhD student at KCMUCo and an employee of Good Samaritan Foundation of Tanzania.
My PhD research is on whole genome sequence-based diagnostics of clinical bacterial isolates in resource-limited settings. The project aims to investigate bacterial pathogens from clinical by determining the diversity, resistance genes as well as the phylogenetic relationship of pathogens of the same spp.
