Fredrick Edward Makumbi is currently a Senior Lecturer and Departmental Chair, Epidemiology and Biostatistics-School of Public Health, College of Health Sciences, Makerere University-Kampala. He graduated with a Bachelor of Statistics (Bstat, Hons) at Makerere University Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (ISAE) in 1993, and a MHS (2000) and PhD (2004) degrees with majors in epidemiology and population studies from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
